Gucci experience report: came to originally buy to buy 3 pieces of ALU luggage. No service and 0 Lugage knowledge. Never ever neither received link to pay, information not in my language and all of the below applies.

I came to times. 2 times in Italy (home country)- Florence and Rome airport: Done second mistery shopping in Gucci airport Roma : as such as a disaster from the 1rst one (luggage purchase) SA did not even know how to open the bag, know where it is made, 0 story telling, do not know how to close, lie about tsa key owned by customer (customs only), did not know dimensions and sizes + capacity. SA did not introduce herself, question to avoid: “how can help you?” Embarrassed at herself she call someone not giving consideration to sell me the highest priced item in her store.

Reported to manager for this second experience that was not okay : “sorry sorry sorry” as I only word. Expectations to buy Gucci luggage 0. Yes it is not their category but most expensive item instore and airport store. In the “Gucci account” (CRM) could again see myself as a “sleeping customer” (not nice to see from customer prospective) Luggage capacity unknown online and on their Website. I don't normally write reviews, but I feel that I must write this review for all the American travelers out there. Before coming to Europe, I did my research in buying high end products and I knew what I wanted to purchase at Louis Vuitton and potentially purchase at Gucci before coming to Italy. I have to say that the shopping experience that I had at the Gucci flagship store in Florence was way beyond anything that I ever expected. I was approached by Mr. Gianni Landucci who kindly offered to show my husband and I around the store. Then he kindly probed into what type of Gucci purses or articles that I may be interested in. He then proceeded to give my husband and I the five star experience. Mr. Landucci pulled out all the stops, had me try on every amazing purse that I was interested in, gave my husband and I champagne and made us feel like we were spending millions. Two months later I am writing this review hoping that he gets the recommendation and appreciation that he truly deserves. I had an amazing time and experience that still stays with me. I am hopeful that when I am back in Florence that I will reenter this Gucci store and have just as an amazing experience. I will forever be a Gucci fan – Much Love from one little American in...
