We had a wonderful experience on the Evening Food and Wine Tour with Eating Europe in Florence. From the moment we met our guide, everything felt welcoming and well organized. We enjoyed welcome drinks and we were all given the chance to introduce ourselves.

The tour took us through some hidden gems and authentic spots that we probably would not have found on our own. Each stop had its own unique atmosphere, and we got to taste a variety of specialties from cheeses and cold cuts to pasta and gelato. The wine tasting was also great and it had different varieties including a stop at a wine window.

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and passionate about Florentine food culture. She shared some local insights that added so much more depth to what we were experiencing. I unfortunately can’t remember her name but she is in some of these photos. A special thank you to her for making this night so fun and memorable.

The pace was perfect, relaxed and the small group size made it easy to chat, enjoy, and ask questions. We felt like we’d just had dinner with new friends while learning a lot about Florence especially the culinary traditions and some history.

Unforgettable Tuscany Truffle Hunt Experience!

My husband and I had the pleasure of joining the Tuscany Truffle Hunt experience, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Although the day started a bit bumpy due to a delay in transportation, the issue was quickly resolved, and everything ran smoothly from there.

Francesca and Matteo were absolutely wonderful hosts. They were warm, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. We learned so much about truffles and olive oil—things we never knew before!

The truffle hunt itself was such a unique and enjoyable adventure. I loved the hike through the scenic Tuscan countryside, and the excitement of searching for truffles was truly one-of-a-kind.

After the hunt, we were treated to a delicious meal that exceeded all expectations. Every dish was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and cooked with so much care and love. It was one of the best meals we had during our entire stay.

We couldn’t resist bringing a bit of Tuscany home with us—we purchased some wine, truffle salt, and honey. I’m already dreaming about going back for another visit!
