My story is pretty typical sadly. My phone was ripped from my hands during the evening and I had to get a replacement for the rest of my trip.
I located MediaWorld to go to the next morning. Regardless of them not having any google pixels, the service was horrible.
I don't speak any Italian and that's usually fine and I still manage my point in broken English or Spanish. The staff ignored me for about the first 15 minutes of being at the counter, with 2 employees working at and me trying to get their attention. Finally one of them brought me to a manager or supervisor who spoke English and she just directed me to the vodophone counter and the guy there didn't acknowledge me until his customers left (not even a hi or it'll be a min gesture). Even another customer said to him "do you see the girl" and he just went "after this", meaning his other customers. And when I finally had my turn after waiting now for upwards of 45 minutes to be talked to, he told me to go back to where I originally started in the store. He gave me a ticket number which no one at the store was using. This is all while about 5 employees were chatting and giggling to themselves.
I left the store, cried because I was so stressed with losing my phone and having to get one to be in touch with family that needed to know I was safe.
I went back in and FINALLY someone noticed I needed help (mostly because I was crying) and finally she helped me get a phone and then I still had to deal with the incredibly rude and unhelpful gentleman at the vodophone booth. He even said "you don't need to cry" and one point but that goes to show how stressed and vulnerable I felt a different country I don't speak the language of nor have any communication with family. I even mentioned my phone was stolen to try and get the point I needed help across.
Thank you to the one lady who finally help me. But please invest in customer service training...
Read moreA real shame! Totally uncompetent staff. I was just looking for toner for my laser printer. As I didn’t know that store, I wanted to ask where to go in the store. I went right to the info desk at the store entrance. There I was waiting minutes long while 3 staff people out of 5 were just standing there and doing absolutely nothing. When finally one of the two active person finished with a customer, she told me I have to take a ticket and she answered to another customer. The 3 totally unuseful employees behind the desk were still unuseful and doing absolutely nothing, even not talking together. After some time I was finally at the right place, in front of the exact product I was looking for, except that I also needed a missing toner color. I asked a vendor for it. She asked me about my printer reference, which was absolutely unusefull as I knew the toner cartridge reference which were just in front of me! I give two stars instead of one just because one vendor finally answered correctly to my request regarding the missing...

Ieri 10/09/2025 mi reco allo store per comprare un telefono nuovo per mia madre la signora che mi ha servita mi vende un telefono demo Samsung galaxy s24 FE ( se andate allo store non compratelo) senza fare nessun tipo di test assicurandomi che il telefono non aveva mai avuto nessun tipo di problema. Tra l’altro cosa che ho trovato molto scorretta solo al momento esatto in cui stavo passando la carta sul pos mi dice che i telefoni demo ovvero quelli che solitamente tengono esposti, come i ricondizionati, hanno solo un anno di garanzia e poi aggiunge “non lo sapevi?” Beh no dato che non ho mai acquistato un telefono demo cosa che SCONSIGLIO A CHIUNQUE DI FARE, oltretutto ad un prezzo esagerato rispetto ad offerte online ma quello errore mio che ho verificato troppo tardi. Comunque arrivo a casa metto il telefono in carica con il caricatore nuovo originale Samsung 25w preso sempre nello store e il telefono si attacca alla carica ma dopo qualche min di carica segnala che non sta più caricando, infastidita da ciò riprovo ad aspettare un po’ e rimettere il cell sotto carica ma purtroppo il risultato è lo stesso. Molto infastidita da tutto ciò chiamo Mediawordl mi risponde assistenza dall’Albania che mi garantisce un reso entro 15gg in negozio. Dunque oggi mi reco allo store Mediawordl rifaccio la fila tra l’altro una ragazza molto maleducata mi passa avanti perché un signore le dice che può prendere il suo numero perché lui se stava andando, quindi ci passa anche avanti sotto gli occhi delle commesse che sono completamente indifferenti rispetto a tutto ciò. Ma la parte più divertente arriva quando dicono che devono verificare che effettivamente il telefono non carichi per motivare il reso al che mi inizio veramente ad infastidire perché:
Risultato per fare un reso ci abbiamo impiegato tutta la mattinata e abbiamo dovuto discutere con tutti gli operatori perché sono veramente ma veramente LENTI e incompetenti nel capire e realmente comprendere l’esigenza del cliente.
Per non scordarci che lo storno visto che “giustamente” dipende dalla banca richiede dai 5 ai 30 gg
