Review From Ms. Nellie I have visited this wonderful jewelry store twice over the years while on excursions, and spending what little time we had only at Vaggi jewelry store. The owner is a true gentleman, decent, honest and most helpful. I saw beautiful pieces that you cannot find elsewhere, he has the best in vintage, and also in new designs. The workmanship and materials are authentic Florentine that most likely you won't easily find elsewhere. Ohhh if i can have one more look at his store display, especially the vintage pieces displayed in his window. Did i mention price and cost? Mr. Vaggi was willing to work with me, very agreeable and very fair with his pricing, nothing outrageous that would cause you to leave but reasonable price quotes for items with quality and incredible workmanship. Do give this place a try, if you only have a little bit of time and you will not be able to visit all the shops then save yourself the trouble and visit Vaggi jewelry store. I started with this store on the Ponte Vecchio and although I did not end up purchasing from this store, as I found exactly what I was looking for at another store, I had to write a review to praise the store for their excellent advice and customer service which was friendly and helpful. I was able to use their advice to ensure what I purchased was the 18 k gold quality I was looking for and also was able to talk intelligently to the other shops about what their tax rebate would be. This store is the highest I found at 20% which is excellent. I would definitely recommend that you look in this store for a jewelry purchase as they offer gorgeous jewelry and truly excellent customer service whether you buy or not.

I actually had no intention of purchasing jewellery during my stay in Florence, but when I passed by the window of this store my eyes immediately caught sight of a beautiful platinum & diamond ring. The staff were closing up, I just had time to try on the ring and take a photo, while I thought about it until the shop reopened. I was there as soon as the store was open again. The whole experience could not have been better. Roberto was very pleasant, informative, helpful, and clearly genuinely passionate about jewellery design and history. He took the time to go through the history of the ring and the style of the stones etc. He offered free ring resizing within the hour. I was reassured by the detailed written certificate, he even tested the diamonds in front of me as he knew I was a cautious customer. He offered for me to view through jeweller’s loop.
