We came to Milan Chinatown looking for dinner on a warm summer Friday evening. We did not do our usual research on recommended restaurants and honestly just decided on this place based on some of the dishes we liked on the menu. There was not a wait and dishes were served promptly. We did not have high expectations and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the value for money. The decor gets 1 star and the bathroom is ok. The rest, none is good. The food is ugly: I mean I have eaten Chinese food and especially Shanghai flavor for my entire life. The chef doesn’t even try to learn how to cook well. I ordered a Shanghai flavored duck in soy sauce. The just boil it in water, cut it, and pour some soy sauce and sugar mixed sauce on it. Little of chinese restaurants in chinatown do not have chinese customers, this restaurant is one because of its bad services. You almost can not find a rude selfish noisy stupid person in China nowadays, including mental hospitals and prisons. But this restaurant brings me back to 50 years ago and see them.
