Cuori di Sfogliatella is absolutely one of those places you must stop by. From the moment you enter, the aroma of freshly baked sfogliatelle fills the air — buttery, delicate, inviting. This bakery/pasticceria truly delivers an authentic taste of Neapolitan pastry tradition.

First off, the sfogliatella here are exceptional. The sfogliatella riccia has those perfectly crisp, layered “leaves” on the outside, and the inside is filled with just the right‐balance creamy ricotta/semolina filling — rich without being overly sweet. If you prefer something softer, the frolla version is lovely too. They also experiment with different fillings: there are options like pistachio, pear, and lemon among others.

The gelato (ice cream) here is also highly recommended – creamy, smooth, and not cloyingly sweet. If you enjoy something refreshing or a dessert with texture, this is a great choice. The bakery doesn’t overdo the sugar; everything feels well balanced, letting the pastry and filling quality come through.

The coffee is a perfect match: strong, aromatic, well made. It pairs beautifully with the pastries and adds to the overall experience. Don’t expect fancy latte art, but expect real, satisfying, quality espresso or cappuccino.

What really seals the deal is the service. Staff here are friendly, helpful, and seem genuinely proud of what they do — which matters a lot. The atmosphere is warm and inviting; yes, it has a busy, bustling energy (especially with tourists and locals alike), but it never feels rushed or impersonal.

Given all this — delicious pastries, excellent gelato, good coffee, and attentive service — I’d rate Cuori di Sfogliatella 5 stars without hesitation. It’s one of those spots where you feel you’re getting more than just food; you’re getting a slice of Naples’ sweet heritage. Definitely one of my favorite dessert/pastry places...

If you’re in Naples and want to experience one of the true culinary treasures of the city, Cuori di Sfogliatella is an absolute must. Located conveniently near the train station, this legendary pasticceria is a shrine to one of Naples’ most iconic pastries—the sfogliatella.

As soon as you step inside, you’re greeted with the sweet, buttery aroma of freshly baked pastries. The classic sfogliatella riccia, with its delicate, crisp layers and rich ricotta and semolina filling, is simply perfection. The sfogliatella frolla offers a softer, cookie-like alternative, equally delicious. They also innovate with modern takes—filled with pistachio cream, chocolate, lemon, or even savoury options.

But it doesn’t stop there. Their selection of cakes, baba au rhum, cannoli, and miniature pastries are all crafted with the kind of precision and flair that only comes from a deep-rooted Neapolitan pastry tradition. The rum-soaked baba is especially indulgent, perfectly balanced between moist and boozy.

Cuori di Sfogliatella isn’t just a bakery—it’s a celebration of Naples’ rich culinary heritage. The sfogliatella itself dates back to the 17th century, originally made by cloistered nuns at the Convent of Santa Rosa, and Cuori di Sfogliatella carries that legacy forward with love and pride. Their name—“Hearts of Sfogliatella”—says it all: passion and heart in every bite.

Whether you’re grabbing a pastry to go or sitting down with an espresso to soak in the atmosphere, this place is a treat for all the senses. Authentic, delicious, and unforgettable. Don’t leave Naples...

Well, the sweet deserts and coffee very tasty and fresh (Saturday afternoon). However, I ordered a big glass of orange juice and paid 3 euros, but then I sent my family member to buy themselves another glass, and they asked 6 euros for the big glass (saying that it's double the normal glass and that previously they had made a mistake by charging me 3 euros). Well, alcoholic aperitivo costs 6 euro there.. . So, the conclusion is that they TAKE ADVANTAGE OF TOURISTS! Beware! Not...
