Ristorante Pizzeria Al Cucciolo Bohemien dal 1963 — Restaurant in Naples

Our host recommended this place. We arrived there at around 8:30 pm. We asked to be seated and were handed the menu. When we wanted to order they were out of the dish so we reconsidered and got something else. Same thing happened when we wanted to order secondi. They were out of the squid. Instead of letting us choose something else, the waiter took away our menus and left. We didn't get secondi. While bringing out the wine he just put the glasses on the table; without placing them next to the guests. He just randomly put them down. He didn't fill water or wine in our glasses. He brought out the food and while clearing the table he put a bunch of used forks down on my plate before picking it up. The waiter was really unfriendly and on the edge of being disrespectful. We didn't feel welcome. The food, Octopus Salad and Linguine Puttanesca was good but couldn't make up for the bad service...

To start: I ate here yesterday, the pizza was good (although very little 'nduja, just a few small drops), and the location is beautiful.

The waiter however was not good (to say the least). He had an aggressive tone (although at first I thought that was due to a lack of English skills) and when I sat down he told me I could only order pizza, no pasta. In the 45min I was there I saw him creep on girls walking by (while alerting his coworkers of this by aggressively tapping a wine bottle with the opener?) tell people in a not so nice way they couldn't eat at their table and turn his back on potential guests trying to ask him something. And to top it all of: whilst I couldn't order pasta, the table next to me could....

This was the worst experience in restaorant in Naples, total scam. Don't go there if you want to support a place which treats differently everyone - depending on nationality or other things. Food was not that bad but we wanted to order food which they said that they didn't have and later on they brought it to new hosts. The worst part was when we wanted tiramisu - they said there is not any- just frozen one. 5 min later we saw they were bringing Tiramisu to Italian couple. They gave us tiramisu which was basically icecream in a plastic cup and which was impossible to eat . Then they charged us more for it then for the normal one.
