La Locanda Dei Borboni was a discovery we made while wondering around the city streets, a lovely little restaurant that transports you to somewhere else as soon as you walk through the door.

There are a few tables served by a kitchen at the back of the restaurant, this place is cute but packs a big punch serving some absolutely amazing seafood dishes. The freshness and taste is so good, and because it's such a small venue it also has that warming home cooked feel. Food made with love.

Disappointing after having read previous reviews mainly because the young waiters didn’t seem to give a damn. They didn’t explain the specials when giving us the menus, were impatient when taking our order, said thank you and goodbye when we paid without looking us in the eye. If the restaurant had been busy they might have had an excuse. I felt sorry for the older guy who I assume is the owner. He at least attempted to connect with us to make us feel welcome. The swordfish (16€) was the rarest I have ever had. Verging in sushi level raw. Maybe that’s how the locals like it but that was a first for me. My partners seafood pasta was tiny. Probably...

Fomos ao La Locanda dei Borboni e tivemos uma experiência maravilhosa! O atendimento foi excelente, super rápido e cordial. Desde o momento em que chegamos, nos sentimos bem-vindos. A localização é ótima, no coração de Nápoles, ideal para quem está explorando a cidade a pé.

O ambiente é super aconchegante, com um charme simples e autêntico que te faz sentir em casa. A comida foi simplesmente deliciosa — pratos bem servidos, temperados com perfeição, feitos com ingredientes frescos e muito sabor. Dá para sentir o cuidado em cada detalhe da cozinha.
