Fantastico! We stayed a week in our apartment and enjoyed every moment. The apartment itself had everything we could ask for and was extremely clean. The views were breathtaking: a particularly enjoyable part was sitting on the balcony in the evening and looking down on the lake with a glass of wine in hand. The pool provided a great way to cool off and a good setting for our kids to socialize. The neighbors was all quiet and respectable. The property is set about 5 minutes drive above Varenna on the hillside, and accessible via the narrow, windy roads typical of mountain regions. The area offers an abundance of paths and trails to explore on foot as well as access to the lake destinations via bike, car, and/or ferry. In particular, I need to single out the property manager, Mario. From prior to our arrival to after our departure, it was evident he was concerned with ensuring we and the rest of the guests had a pleasant stay. Amazing place! The view from the apartments are breathtaking. The owner Mario is a great host with wonderful suggestions and always ready to help out. Apartments are super clean and the location is perfect. Well in reach of the train station for a quick visit to Milan or take the ferry to Menaggio and Belaggio. Would definitely recommend...
