I recently stayed at Varenna Guest House and I have to say that I had a wonderful experience. Enrico, the host, was truly fantastic and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Upon arrival, Enrico surprised my boyfriend with a special laminated birthday message, which was an incredibly thoughtful gesture. Throughout our stay, Enrico's communication was excellent, and he was always available to answer any questions we had. One of the things that really impressed me about Enrico was his dedication to ensuring our comfort. When we mentioned that we were feeling cold whilst sleeping, Enrico immediately purchased an electric heater to ensure that we were warm and cozy throughout the night. The location of the guest house was also ideal. It was conveniently located near the lake, ferry station, and main square, which meant that we had easy access to everything we needed during our stay. We also appreciated the abundance of great food and gelato spots nearby. Finally, the electronic shutters that opened up to a beautiful view of the lake were a wonderful touch. It was a joy to wake up to such a breathtaking view each morning. Overall, I would highly recommend Varenna Guest House to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Varenna. Recently stayed here in October, and I would definitely recommend staying here. Enrico was very friendly and gave us good recommendations for the town. The location is nice too. It's less than a 5-minute walk from the train station, so you can get out of the station and put your bags down right away. The self-check-in process was straightforward too once we found the room. The guest house is amazing! Nicolò, the property manager, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He was attentive to our needs and always quick to respond to our questions. The room is very spacious, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with amenities like Netflix, bottled water, a kettle, coffee, and more.
