Vista d'Oro Ulivo Apt. 15 — Local services in Perledo

Sept 2017- I just wasted 450EUR for 3 nights in this apt and was greeted by none other than a LIVING SCORPION in the shower!!! (Please find my picture of said exotic unwelcomed host exactly where it was found among the google images for this location) Upon advising the management company, they sent cleaning people in our apt, but refused to move us in another apt. They offered at my own cost actually - yeah right, tks idiots! They were very nice and provided a lot of information on the different things to visit in the area, but when you need them the most, their customer service is the worse there can be. They never tried to come to a common solution for us, lower the pricing or refund us, relocate us to wherever, nada (they put poison in the drain, yeay.) if you are a bug lover, THIS IS...

Apartment was nice, clean and well equipped. Communication with letting agents was efficient. However it is quite a difficult walk from Varenna village and I wouldn’t advise staying here without a car. You can either walk on the road up several hairpin bends which feels quite dangerous in the dark or take cobbled paths cutting across but these are very uneven and completely unlit so equally dangerous.There is no where near to go out for food or drinks in the evening. Great place with stunning views! Letting team always on hand and keep you informed by email. Better to have a car here. We walked into Varenna a number of times and didn’t get any easier.
