Asia Food Market — Local services in Pisa

For me, this is the best shop in Pisa for a wide variety of Chinese and Japanese teas. It’s not easy to find high-quality tea leaves in Pisa, but this shop offers an impressive selection, from oolong and pu'er to classic jasmine green tea. Of course you will find other good asian products but I'm more of a tea fan, so I concentrated on it while shopping here.

What makes this place even more special is the owner - a truly wonderful lady who is always happy to share her knowledge about tea. She takes the time to explain the proper brewing methods and gladly answers any questions with enthusiasm.

Besides the good price of asian products, the cashier lady is extremly nice, i would say she is angel. She helped me with laundry machine, exchanging coins. Also in one of my trips there, i forgot my laundry and she keep it for me, even in the middle of night, she still ran back to the store and returned the laundry bag to me. There is no words to describe her kindness. The picture was about the note that she left for me when she closed the store...

Really nice shop, with lots of supplies. Staff are really friendly too, and very happy to make recommendations about the food and level of spiciness. We always come away from the shop with a lot more items than we'd planned for! Really good and...
