"ROSEMARY" Ristorante Pizzeria Bar — Restaurant in Pisa

I don’t think Ive ever experienced such horrible service or quality of food. I am appalled at the lack of professionalism the owner portrays. The restaurant owner will probably insult me because he cannot accept criticism, as if insulting customers reviews is going to make people want to eat at your establishment.

Let’s just say, the bread that they bring as an appetizer was stale and dry. We ordered a Margherita pizza which was missing the basil. It looked AND tasted like a regular cheese pizza. When we asked the waiter if we had received the correct order she told us that’s how the pizza comes and seemed uninterested. The pizza was extremely underwhelming and doused in tomato suace. There was so much tomato sauce it felt like we were eating a soup not a pizza. I can’t comprehend how anyone can mess up pizza that bad. I think I’ve had frozen pizza taste better than what they gave us. Honestly the owner should be ashamed to even call himself Italian after serving pizza that bad.

The most upsetting part was that on the bill they charged us 10 euros for sitting at their restaurant and serving us which is not a big deal, but they never told us they would be charging that fee. I understand in Europe the restaurant industry works differently but at least advice customers that their is a hidden fee.

We asked the owner what was this fee we were being charged for. He proceeded by insulting us saying that we were a bunch of American gypsies, to go back to our country and that we are ugly and pathetic.

That is the reason why I am writing this review because the owner insulted us for questioning our bill. He discriminates and is a racist, he does not like any foreigners.

So basically, if you are American or just a tourist, do not eat here. His lack of morale and professionalism clearly reflects in his business hence the reason his restaurant is empty and has horrible reviews. I would suggest he stops insulting customers, take some real cooking classes, put less sauce on your pizza & learn how to take criticism. ‼️This restaurant is not good and i very recommend you to not go to this place‼️

First you Can go by this place and hear a women/men offering you to go in. If you go in you can see a restaurant that looks like skunks and rats live there, lots of spiders and spiderwebs, the menu looks like its been soaked in a sewer and you can smell a vinegary like stink.

Second there are lots of foods on the menu so that can already tell you that sometging is wrong and the staff is quite rude and looks like they want to kill you.

Third the prices look not that bad, ‼️but‼️ they give themselvs 15% tip without you asking, and the drinks are very pricy, for example Coca Cola for 5€! Are they crazy? And the Coke is probably not original, because the taste is realy Mild and sometimes you can taste bitterness!

Fourth the food tastes very bad and is realy not close to taste of avarage italian food, acualy the food is very below avarage for example the pizza - it is very oily without adding any oil and the cheese taste like its Made with powder and realy powder and then the dough can be raw and wet. ‼️and they put some bread on the table but do not eat, its realy old and Hard like a rock‼️ and then the food is very small for the prices, because they try to have a "estethic" plating of the food, but in the end its a little piece of something that tastes bad and has something around it.

DO NOT EAT HERE. awful food made me sick in their toilets and their response was to laugh in my face and tell me that it is not their problem. Worst customer service I've ever encountered, I left in tears.

They give people a discount to leave 5 star reviews, that is clearly the only reason they have so many.

And to add to that, they have given us the most rude responses to my friends reviews. They are calling me a liar and that I "say" I felt sick, no, I WAS sick and I only requested my own meal to be taken off of the bill. I only began to feel unwell after I ate their pasta and now I am done being sick I feel fine again. It's not the heat as I have spent my whole life travelling in hot countries, I am genuinely shocked and appalled at the way this business responds to negative reviews, they tell people to go back to their country and that we don't know what we are talking about but the amount of 1 star reviews says otherwise. If they hate tourists so much why have a restaurant next to the leaning tower of Pisa ?????
