Container16 Roma — Local services in Rome

Container16 has so many beautiful and unique wares — unfortunately I was only able to appreciate them through the window.

The shop was closed early the first day we passed by — the gentleman manning the shop was inside but gave us the ol’ 🙅🏻

We returned the next day to find it closed again with the same gentleman inside. We waited around for him to reopen as the sign suggested, but instead he came out to smoke a cigarette and shrugged us off. Was practically begging him to take my money. I visited this store recently, they sell beautiful products. I was looking for a mouse lamp that I saw in Sicily and happed to see the same in this place.

After checking and confirming that the price of €69 Is for all three lamp to my dissapointment when I opened the box and only 1 was inside. I asked the lady several times if it was only one or if it was three and she confirmed it was three.

After contacting the place as I wanted a refund as €69 per lamp is rediculous the manager responded that there is no refund and I should have checked when it was packed.

Definitely not recommended if the staff can’t even give the correct...

LOVED this fabulous store ! I purchased really great items for my kitchen and to bring back from Rome for friends. The best Memories of a place are the ones you use all the time - wonderful espresso cups , tiles from Sicily, linen napkins, a small espresso pot that fit easily in my bag, it was a one stop shop for my home and souvenirs that are classic, creative and stylish. I am back in the USA and my friends LOVED what we brought back. Thanks to the lovely couple who were so helpful assisting us and for the packaging ! Definitely make this a stop on your Roma itinerary....
