MargheRita Osteria Pizzeria (Alla Scrofa) — Restaurant in Rome

Don't have pastas here. You'd be wasting your time and a meal. A couple of the staff there are quite nice, when the place fills up slightly though, getting their attention takes a bit of time.

I had the Amatriciana— tomato sauce was okay, bacon cut was not good, too much fat, barely any meat, basically just eating pasta with tomato sauce. My boyfriend had the Carbonara but it was way too salty, he couldn't taste anything else, no egg, no cream, just salt. Cheese sauce was not creamy and tasted like it didn't use actual cheese (even though the staff said it did, which I think makes it worse that the cooking can be that bad). Sent the meal back after 2 bites and the waiter let us cancel it off our order. He then decided to try the Roasted Cherry Tomatoes and Bufala. It was okay. Nothing great.

They served Illy cappuccino here. It was nice but, as usual for places that serve coffee, it's not just the coffee brand that counts anyway but who makes your coffee— different maker, different coffee taste.

They took off the cappuccino from our bill too, which was nice, but the total was weirdly calculated— our pastas we €9 each and the service charge was €2 but somehow the total was 21.20. As we had given the staff a couple of bad news already, we didn't quite want to have to...

The Asian/Filipino waitress at this establishment was an abomination; her service, hospitality and menu knowledgability was abysmal and ultimately shouldn’t even be working here as she is a terrible employee representing your company. Moreover she kept disappearing all the time when we were waiting for our food which was an extraordinarily long time, then she would throw tantrums sighing and chucking the napkins and cutlery on the table even at the smallest of requests or polite questions. To top it off, the food wasn’t even of great quality to at least salvage her poor reputation. Other employees at the bar taking payments weren’t mildly better either, just standing around, even when we communicated to them in Italian, then just throw the receipt in your face. All-in-all don’t bother spending your money here, go elsewhere in the local area for a significantly better service and...

The restaurant is quite beautiful with new furniture and a lovely balcony to eat ouside. The menus are even in english and italian. The food we had was average, not bad, not good. Keep in mind with their annoying "prima" and "secundi" that you never know how much you get. And if you order a secundi, that there are no fries or so woth it, it's just the meat/fish without side dishes. NOW TO THE WORST PART: They have the worst service I have ever witnessed: first they ignored us (becaise we didn't speak italian). An italien couple next to us got their menus, ordered AND got their food BEFORE WE EVEN GOT A MENU. At our questions if there are side dishes with any meal they coundn't or woudn't answer. When I finally got my steak, I had no sidedishes, so I ordered them seperatly, which took again 20min to get fries.... DON'T GO HERE, YOU...
