I really wanted to visit here and purchase some items here. Am staying in other city and finally came to Syracuse and definitely wanted to purchase from main boutique here in Syracuse, Ortigia. But the staff's attitude was terrible I lost my feeling to purchase here, at least THIS shop. Maybe try online? One of the stuff I wanted to purchase was a scarf, scarf was displayed with higher position as well, you need the assistance to check the colour suits your face or not depends on colour, but a male low motivated unprofessional staff was completely inattentive, never help you to try. Also asked about a glass of plates, he fingered on the glass plates making noise hard even a customer touch items carefully. Not only this, he kept kicking his counter with his shoes with music or something...keep banging with shoes!! Entire stay in this small shop approximately 10 mits were a nightmare!! I told him, I guess you are a shopkeeper and not the owner of this Ortigia boutique, but you are completely disturbing the brand of Ortigia. I thought I need to leave this review and opened this page, oh there were other bad reviews regarding staff!! The managers need to consider why the sales weren't increase well, it's bcoz of your staff!! You should...
Read moreWow, just wow! Ortigia is now one of my favorite places in Europe. It reminds me of the walled, hill towns in Tuscany and Portugal. A small island connected to Syracusa in Sicily, Ortigia is best explored by foot as the streets are small and winding. Cars are highly discouraged, but there are parking lots on the west side of the island to park overnight or longer (hint: look up how to pay for parking before trying to leave because it is not intuitive). The architecture is a mix of medieval and baroque, and is simply stunning. Stay for a few days if you can to soak up the atmosphere, visit both of the Jewish baths (highly recommended), walk the esplanade around the island (takes about an hour), wander the winding streets, and eat at the really adorable and affordable...

But she thinks I can't afford the perfume and doesn't allow me to try it normally. In fact, I think it shouldn't be encouraged for any perfume shop to not allow customers to try. If you like ORTIGIA's perfume, I really recommended that you go to other stores to try, which is also sold at the airport in Catania. May if you want to get a bad mood for the day,...
