We found this place on google as we wanted a good, authentic Italian pizza for dinner. We trusted the 4.8/5 score, but we were wrong to! When we arrived we were seated straight away, but then had to wait and wait (even after two tables who had been sat after us) for our order to be taken, despite making eye contact with the waiter. We watched as everyone else got their orders, some even the incorrect order, so we had little faith. When our order was eventually taken, we thought it was all going to turn out okay. Again, we were wrong! Our starter of bruschetta arrived, and it was nice but basic. We then had to wait even longer, so long that the same waiter brought a dessert menu to ask us did we want to order! He seemed frazzled when we told him we were still waiting on our pizzas. 15 minutes later, our pizzas arrived. They were nice pizzas, but nothing we can’t get at home in Ireland. Not sure if that says more about the pizza we have at home, or this pizza. We did take our leftovers home, but they left out a slice of one of our pizzas! All in all I’m not sure we would recommend to others, purely for the lack of service....

However the real problem was our service, we asked for a wine bottle and our waitress said she would check if they have it, she did not come back for another 20 minutes until i had to call her out. Then we were informed they dont have that wine ( the cheapest in the restaurant). But the real killer was the fact that people who came later then us received their orders way sooner, our pizza came about 45 minutes after we ordered, which would not be such a big deal if the other tables did not get their pizzas way sooner than us brought by the same waitress that we had. Still a very nice place and would come back at a...
Read moreFirstly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (even with broken English) and tried their best to explain dishes to us when asked. The croquette was delicious as well as the pizza (when the menu says spicey, it means spicey) however we were slightly let down by the desserts. The tiramisu (I may be wrong but should be soaked in coffee) had hard biscuits in it and the creme brulee was more like a cold cheesecake. I also think the desserts may have been frozen as the brulee was still slightly hard and colder in the middle. Overall, lovely restaurant with friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere as well as good food, just slightly let down by...
