A little charming restaurant/bar/showroom hiding in a street of Ortigia.

I was walking by when I saw this vault, I stepped in and when I looked forward saw this beautiful indoor courtyard…😍

Further down the bar with all the illuminations and the retro/vintage decoration looked just perfect and so inviting!🤩

The staff is very friendly/professional. I loved how the waiter was dressed so classy. 🤩The waitress asked me to speak my language as she wanted to learn. So I was speaking portuguese and she was speaking italian it was fun!😁

When I arrived it was still closed and empty I could take some beautiful pictures of the place. The vibe is very cosy, relax and go with the flow!

Came back at 6:30 (opening time) for a drink and end up eating. All tables where reserved (I recommend making a reservation ahead) but got there early enough so was lucky to be able to dine in a long shared table (was there by myself so perfect!) got to meet a friendly Italian couple with their dog!

The food was delicious! I think this place is underrated… I had the “Filetto di manzo allevato al pascolo disco di patate fondo di caffe”! The meet was fantastic and the “disco di patate” had a great texture! All together tasted soooo good!!! The portions where just perfect for once in Sicily (usually the portions are sooo big you can’t even finish!😅) I was left with some space for desert and oh my was it good!!!

The “Mousse di cioccolato bianco, crumble salato di tumminia e salsa al limone” was an explosion of taste in the mouth!!! Just Amazing!!’ As well to drink I had a Apérol Spritz that was really good and a glass of Prosecco that if I understood well was natural…

I highly recommend the full experience!!! To me it’s a must do in Ortigia and if I ever come back I will definitely go eat/drink there...

Such a bad experience... we were sat outside as there were no free tables inside, we asked the waitress to tell us if there will be a table free in, so we can move (we were never moved inside, just some people who came before us)

We ordered some pasta and a bottle of wine. The bottle of wine was suposed to be dry and fruity. It was not. It was dry and very acidic. The pasta we ordered (maccheroncini), was the waiters "favorite dish". It came in 2 dimensions: one small with 3 small pieces of sausage , and another one smaller with just 1 piece of sausage. Either way, both were below mediocre.

Shamefull. This restaurant was a reccomendation and so far in sicily, it was by far the worst food. Worst service and worst wine.

I don't understand the high ratings of this restaurant. Whey deserve an average of below 4*, just for these discrepancies and high prices for what you...

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local, but unfortunately we were quite disappointed.

The location is quite „unique“ and looks nice. located directly in center of Ortigia.

The staff was unfriendly & arrogant. The barmaid though was nice! The service itself was def. below usual level. But the worst: the food came already cold (Pasta) :( Plus my girlfriend got her food, also pasta, a few minutes later. An absolute no-go imho. -/+ The taste of the food was okay. Nothing special.

Conclusion: Save the disappointment and walk down the street just 100m more. You‘ll find def better places to spend a nice evening with your...
