Gold time — Local services in Trieste

Wow! a lovely historical italian watch shop. It was like going back many years in a time machine to be inside. Very cosy and beautiful. I passed by and saw a nice watch in the window. When i asked the lady came out and told me it was about 200 euros, so i said i would buy it. It turned out to be 280 euros on the official tag but she sold it to me for 200. It was a good saving because although the watch was newly vintage (not sold by Seiko since a few years ago) the best price for the watch when it was sold was about 250 euros. A nice deal. She has spoken good English and even asked if the watch is a present (presumably she would have wrapped it for me). Absolutely lovely lady and a beautiful shop. I would return if in the future i needed any watch repair work done....

Ho lasciato il mio orologio da tasca marca Perseo, ricordo da capotreno nelle F.S. per la sua manutenzione. L'orologio è stato spedito alla sede competente, ma dati gli alti costi, non ho proceduto alla sua manutenzione. Tornato a Trieste, ho dovuto insistere perché pagassi almeno le spese vive della spedizione. Persone sopratutto gentili e dispnibilissime in tutto....
