EDIT to my original review in response to the owners respose - It’s quite telling that instead of addressing the situation professionally, you chose to call my husband a “Bulgaro di mer” and referred to me as a “jerk” in your reply. That says far more about your values and customer service approach than it does about us.
Stereotyping, racist remarks, and aggressive behavior are not just disappointing — they are unacceptable. I approached you politely, asked a simple question about the waiting time, and then returned to my place in line. We respected the rules. You were the one who followed us and began shouting, completely unprovoked.
I respect myself enough to walk away from such blatant unprofessionalism. A little courtesy would have gone a long way — but perhaps that’s too much to expect here.

ORIGINAL REVIEW
We never got to try the food, I bet it is delicious. We came back there a second time because the first timw it was closed. There was a line. I stepped inside to ask how long is the line so we can decide whether we want to wait or not. The guys inside was extremely rude. I asked politely and he kept saying how long how long what do you mean, there is a line, what is the problem. I explained to him that there is no problem and I am just inquiring about the wait time. He started saying you see one two three. And walked with me outside. I said ok and thank you and went back on line. He followed half way through shouting whatnis the problem what is the problem. My husband told him that there is no problem, that everything is ok and even gave him thumbs up. Then we started talking with my husband and this guy started screaming at us if we were talking about him. Very angry and rude. We decided not to risk it, with this attitude who knows, he might spit...
Read moreI recently visited and unfortunately had a highly disappointing experience. While the food and ambiance may be satisfactory, the behavior of one particular staff member left a lasting negative impression!
During my visit, I witnessed a distressing incident involving a member of the staff who was acting like not mentally helty person. This individual displayed shocking impoliteness towards a young woman. He was observed yelling, screaming, and even aggressively following her. It was an uncomfortable and unacceptable scene that tarnished the overall dining experience.
Such behavior is inexcusable in any professional setting, let alone a supposedly reputable restaurant. It is deeply concerning that someone in a position of main chef exhibit such lack of respect and decorum.
As a result of this incident, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restoran to others. While the food may be enjoyable, the disrespectful conduct of certain staff members overshadows any positive aspects. Unless immediate measures are taken to address and rectify such behavior, I would advise potential patrons to consider alternative dining options.
So, my experience was marred by the unprofessionalism of a staff member. Until the management takes appropriate action to ensure a respectful and welcoming environment for all patrons, I would caution against patronizing this establishment unless is a matter of...
Read moreSmall, 8 tables inside 2 out front, but comfortable and the menu is slightly different than the standard pizza and pasta. Lots of fish and shellfish, but the chicken cutlet was my choice. The chicken was lightly breaded and fried and was somewhat greasy. I removed much of the breading to limit the grease and the underlying chicken was juicy and flavorful. It was served with fries, an uninspired choice, vegetables would have been better; and the fries were institutional. The bread was dry and no butter or Olive oil was served. Try the packaged bread sticks.
I noted that my neighbors all had fish and cleaned their plates. Maybe the fish would fare better.
The house white, a Pinot gioglo was quite serviceable and refreshing.
The crowd was entirely locals when I was there, but that is one of the refreshing parts about staying in the Drosoduro. The are few tourist here especially after dark
Reservation are recommend but not required. I was here in November, far from the peak of tourist season and they were still pretty busy. But they did seat me immediately without a reservation.
There is no service charge so do plan on leaving a tip if everything is OK.
In summary, a less than memorable meal. I would not walk across town to eat here, but aceptable if you are in the...
