Higashihasuda onsen — Local services in Beppu

Lovely local onsen! Entrance ¥100, you need to bring your own towel and shampoos. Operating time 07:00 - 22:30, no parking, Beppu onsen stamp.

The changing area is integrated with the bathing area so you can see your stuff while bathing, no lockers. The tub is small size, rectangular shape, placed in the center of the room and made of tiles. Plenty of space to wash yourself around the tub. The floor is made of blue small tiles, the walls of pink ones. The water is transparent and at the areas that there is a lot of flow it gives a brown color as if it contained iron. There are big windows allowing lots of natural light. Measured the water temperature inside the tub at 45.1°C, at the source at 66°C. The source is at the corner of the room covered with a wooden lid, next to it there is a shower head and a few mirrors if you want to shave. Nice clean facilities, it has a retro feeling and friendly locals. Recommended if you are in the area.

面白いので★5。でも普通の人にはあまりおすすめしません。ww 金気臭がする温泉。どこかの源泉と一緒でそこから引いてると地元の人が言ってました。入り方が独特で、入れるようになるまで20分近くかかるので覚悟が必要です。お湯が超絶熱い。と言うか人の入れる温度になってない。 では入り方。 まず、ふっとい短いホースを探します。 それを使ってサイホンの原理で湯船のお湯を外に捨てます。 お湯が減ったら蛇口に付いた方のホースの水で薄めてください。 近くにレバーがあるのでそれも回しましょう。(こっちは井戸水が追加される) お湯は勝手に追加されるので適温になったらちゃっと入ってください。 じゃないと、またどんどん熱くなるので。 以上、地元のおじいさんに教...
