箱根湯本駅前の商店街から離れている場所にあることが功を奏してか、休日でもそれほど混雑しておらず、ゆっくりと土産物を吟味することが出来るお店です。いくつか座ることが出来るベンチがありますが、飲食用ではなく土産物の包装等を待つための座席のようです。 店の看板に『バウム』とあるため、バウムクーヘン専門店のように思いますが、バウムクーヘンは商品の一部というだけで、他にも箱根を温泉まんじゅう等の箱根を代表するスイーツが揃えられています。スタッフの対応もそつがなくテキパキと対応してくれます。 箱根湯本駅から徒歩でも行ける距離ではありますが、比較的車の交通量は多く、歩道も狭い上にガードレールはありません。徒歩での利用の際は充分気を付ける必要があります。

Perhaps the fact that the store is located away from the shopping street in front of Hakone-Yumoto Station has helped, but even on holidays it's not so crowded that you can take your time to examine the souvenirs. There are some benches where you can sit, but they are not for eating or drinking, but for waiting for the souvenirs to be wrapped. The store's signboard says "Baum," which makes you think that it is a store specializing in baumkuchen, but baumkuchen is only one part of the product line, and there are other sweets that represent Hakone, such as manjuu (steamed bun) with an onsen-like filling. The staff's response is quickly. Although it's within walking distance from Hakone-yumoto station, there is relatively heavy traffic, narrow sidewalks, and no guardrails. Please be careful...

注文が入ってからソフトクリームを絞り、栗ペーストを専用の機械に入れて絞り出し、銀粉を散らします

ソフトクリームは牛乳の味が濃く濃厚でとても美味しいです、栗ペーストは甘すぎず風味もさっぱりしているためしつこくなくぺろりと楽しめます 提供口の前に、小さな木のテーブルがありそこに座っていただきました

【感想】 個人的にこちらのお店では【黒糖バウム（しっとりよりも密の詰まった気時間に控えめな甘さと黒糖の香り）】と【ご黒うさん（濃厚なゴマ餡）】が好きです
