Timuny Coffee is an absolute gem in Hakone! From the moment I walked in, I was charmed by the cozy, inviting atmosphere—perfect for relaxing after exploring the area.

The coffee was exceptional—rich, smooth, and expertly brewed. Whether you prefer a classic pour-over or a creamy latte, they’ve got you covered.

But the real surprise was the asparagus, bacon, and cheese sandwich—simple yet incredibly delicious! The combination of flavors was spot-on, and it paired perfectly with my coffee.

They have a smokers room with the best view and an endless selection of notebooks full of drawings and messages left from the customers. Coffee is not that pricey if you compare it to the others places in Hakone and you really manage to spend a relaxing afternoon in here if it's rainy outside. We were a bit sceptical about why the honey toast set would cost as much as ¥1000, but we were pleasantly surprised by it – it came with a salad and soup unlike other breakfast kissaten cafes. The toast was toasted perfectly and doused with the right amount of butter honey and cinnamon powder. The ambience inside the shop is wonderful with a chilled lo-fi playlist.
