I went to have the location mini package. I felt strange when I entered the place and there were no other customers. 2 of my friends recommended this place. The cost for the kimono is ¥16500. I asked how much it would be to upgrade to a furisode. The 2 staff said ¥22000. Both of them didn't tell me that ¥22000 yen is IN ADDITION to the ¥16500. I ended up paying ¥40150. I was yelling at the staff telling them that both of you don't communicate with your customer. I had my friend who speaks English talk to them on the phone and it didn't help the situation. The paper that they had me sign said "furisode ¥22000". There was nothing on the paper that said, "add-on" or "extra charge" to the location mini package. I asked them where my receipt and pictures were. I said I'm not leaving this place until I get my pictures. Both of them just stood there. How can you run a photography business if you don't tell customers upfront the total cost and how they will receive the pictures? Avoid this place at all costs! I would give this place...

We had a wonderful experience at Smile Photo Office. The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff and photographer were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable right away. They took great care throughout every step—make-up, hairstyling, dressing in the kimono, and during the photoshoot.
