Watching the Harvest Moon rising over the Togetsukyō Bridge in Arashiyama. The almost full Harvest Moon (Waxing Gibbous 98.8%) coming over the Mountains surrounding Arashiyama. We had such a relaxing river boat ride ( toddler-friendly) and a great way to take in the scenery at a slower pace. We opted for the private boat and felt it was worth the extra cost for the space and flexibility, especially with a little one.

This place has boat rental as well as a short river cruise. It's nothing like the Hozugawa where you have strong rapid current. This boat tour just takes you around the calm waters of the area.
