TL;DR - If you’re going to have a flagship store, make it an experience!

Beautiful textiles and gallery space, though we missed out on the food and drink part of the experience.

First, this store smells amazing. So much so that we picked up a diffuser for just under $85 (December 2024, ~¥13,200), which I thought was a good value.

The gallery space upstairs was compact, but very thoughtful and a beautiful way to experience the brand.

I was surprised to learn that this brand is primarily a kimono wholesaler, but was told that in about 2010 (I think), the brand decided to diversify into textiles more generally.

Overall, this was such a fun way to get to know what this brand is about—an experience rather than a singular product.

Next time, I’ll stop by to try to food and drink for sure. The staff were very warm and welcoming and I’d be happy to do business...

First floor serves high quality dessert and design. Second floor is exhibition this time being. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the store and happy that I took some time to try the dessert after visiting the exhibition. The service is sublime and I would like to...

Had the fortunate luck of a private tour with a deep explanation of HOSOO history, current works and their views on maintaining Japanese craftsmanship. Amazing to experience first hand and very grateful for this...
