Omiya LOFT — Local services in Saitama

This Loft store carries a wide variety of stationery products. However, the customer service sucked. When I asked the staff about some products, they said it's sold out, only for me to stumble upon those items 10 mins later.

I went to pay and was told that the tax refund counter was closed. They suggested that I come back tomorrow. I was not going to spend 800 yen roundtrip on the train just to get a 500-yen tax refund. Later on, the conversation turned into that I had to do tax refund on the same day of my purchase, which meant that I wouldn't be eligible to get a tax refund. Huge stationary shop. Taking up the whole floor.

You can find everything from notebooks to cell phone cases, wedding albums, watches, washionable bags, cosmetics and more. Although most items here are a little expensive, the items learn towards stylist and a little bit trendy.

If you're in the area it's nice to walk around a do a bit of window shopping. Who knows maybe you'll find...

大宮ロフト。

東急ハンズに比べると、商品が全般的に、お安く、お金にゆとりの無い時には、ウィンドウショッピングがてら楽しめます。

この日は、11月下旬と言う事もあり、クリスマス🎄商戦でした。

大宮ロフトは、以前は、大宮駅🚉東口の、今の、ラクーンシティの入居して居るビルディング🏢に、1階から7階まで入居していましたが、ビルディング🏢の老築化に伴い、大宮そごうの8階の1フロアに引っ越して来ました。

以前は、1階から7階に展開していた物が、今は、1フロアになってしまったので、商品数は、グッと減りました。

東口時代は、家具等も取り扱っていました。クッションとか、ソファとか、何でも御座れと言う感がありましたが、今の大宮ロフトは、どちらかと言うと、文房具屋さんになってしまいました…

チョット、寂しい気もします。

文房具店と言うならば、東急ハンズ大宮店の方が、専門性は上だと感じてしまいます。

また、店舗そのものの専門性や、店員さんの専門知識も、東急ハンズ大宮店さんの方が上だと感じて居ます。

大宮ロフトは、どちらかと言うと、東急ハンズ大宮店さんと比較してしまうと、本当に、商品を並べて売っているだけ、と言う感じがします。

まぁ、文房具屋さんとして、雑貨屋さんとして、暇な時に、訪れて観て回る。そんな、お店の使い方も宜しいのではないでしょうか。

大宮ロフトで飽きたら、同じフロアの、三省堂書店さんや、大宮そごうの中も観て回る。

そんな、お店の使い方も出来るのではないでしょうか。

文房具屋さん、雑貨屋さんとしては、バッチ・グー👊のお店だと、僕は感じています。
