The individual assisting us appeared to be an intern or new employee, a thin gentleman around 35-40 years old. Regrettably, he lacked the knowledge and finesse required to treat customers with the level of courtesy expected at Louis Vuitton. It felt as though he didn’t belong to the LV brand, resulting in a disheartening service encounter.
Our intention was to purchase a wallet to complement the LV bag we had bought in Tokyo. With a clear idea of what we wanted, we didn’t want to spend too much time in the store. However, upon entering, the salesperson made no effort to introduce us to any options and displayed a lack of professionalism throughout the interaction.
Following the purchase, I politely inquired about the availability of water. Astonishingly, he responded with a dismissive remark, stating that it was reserved for “exclusive” customers only. This response was both unwarranted and unexpected, as I was simply looking for refreshment after having a salty ramen earlier.
