They sell edible art. While maybe on the pricier side the love for their product and craft is clearly noticeable. They manage to produce traditional Japanese sweets that are almost too beautiful to eat. That plus them making them by hand does justify the price in my opinion. Maybe not something for every day but as a gift or rare treat they are perfect because not only are they gorgeous to look at but...

as a local in Tokyo, i wanted to just say that they had the best ichigo daifuku in my life. being rice cake, it was extremely light — melting in your mouth. i think about this...
