I’m an easy shopper. I know what I’m looking for, I’m usually in and out. I needed a tie that I saw online. They didn’t have it out on display, so the gentleman helping me searched on his phone and brought it out. I liked it and told him I wanted it. While the gentleman was searching in the back for the tie, I felt the presence of their security. I would walk from one side of the room, and they would walk with me. I understand security is needed, but this is the first time I ever FELT their presence in a Dior shop. I would walk back and forth between each side of the room and their security would walk from another room back and forth as well. Quite obvious after the second time pacing back and forth. There was an Asian woman in the same room and they didn’t follow her. Again, it was obvious this security guy was following me and talking on his microphone, probably getting the cameras to follow me too. Their security presence was quite uncomfortable. Only after I purchased my tie, was I offered a drink. I accepted water. I told the gentleman helping me with my purchase that I was going to hang out in the chair for a bit, while I drank my bottled water. He stepped away and then came back after a few minutes. Essentially telling me to take my water and head out. I asked him if he was asking me to leave, I’m not sure if he was surprised that I asked that question or if the language barrier was confusing. But I obviously got the memo. He wanted me to leave. I walked out.
Overall experience was uncomfortable, unpleasant, and aggressive. I wouldn’t shop here again. The gentleman guiding me looked pissed, never smiled, obviously didn’t want to engage with me. I was never disrespectful, the little Japanese I know, I used in store. I made his job easy by showing him the item in the online store that I wanted. I’m not a huge shopper of Dior, so I’m not sure if all Diors treat their guests this way, but I’ve never been treated this way in other luxury shops. Only one star because they actually had the item I was looking for, but their service, environment, attitude, and the overall shopping experience was terrible. I’ll definitely consider other luxury brands before I consider Dior again, in the future.
PS, I do like the...
Read moreI would like to sincerely thank Mr. Daisuke Nishida for the outstanding service he provided during my visit to Dior. He was incredibly professional, polite, and genuinely attentive throughout the entire experience.
What impressed me most was his kindness and patience. Even when I mentioned that I needed some time to think before making a decision, he remained completely understanding and supportive — never once making me feel pressured.
His calm and respectful manner made me feel comfortable and valued as a customer. It’s rare to meet someone who represents a brand so well. Because of his service, I look forward to returning to this store in the future.
Thank you again, Mr. Nishida. You made my visit...
Read moreLast week, I visited Tokyo for the first time and had a wonderful shopping experience at this Dior store. The male SA who assisted me was very kind and attentive throughout the service.
After finishing my purchase, I was waiting to cross the street in front of the store. I didn’t have an umbrella and was standing in the rain, but the same SA came out and handed me one. I was truly touched by his kindness.
Thank you so much — I’ll definitely come back to this store when I visit...
