Tokyu Plaza in Harajuku offers more than just the latest in trendy fashion. Located at the entrance of the building is one of Tokyo’s most iconic pieces of architectural design, the mirrored escalator. This work of art is comprised of a mirrored ceiling and walls, which creates an eye-catching, kaleidoscope-style optical illusion as you ascend (or descend!) to other parts of the plaza. As soon as you step onto the escalator you'll be transported to another dimension, surrounded by an infinite number of reflections that seem to go on forever! The main entrance is the bomb! Truly a MUST-VISIT when you are in Harajuku, and that Instagrammable photo of the kaleidoscopic glass entrance is not to be missed.
