I-nails shibuya — Local services in Tokyo

Bad experience. We booked an appointment for a basic manicure and pedicure with Saki.o at noon. Their website showed great reviews. The website showed clear availability with her at 2:00 or 2:30 pm.

When we arrived at 2:30, the lady who we believed to be Saki.o was rude and unfriendly. She stated that she would not do this service unless it was for gel nails. Maybe she doesn’t like foreigners. Maybe she wanted to make more money.

Either way, we didn’t feel welcome and it’s hard to believe that a nail salon as reputable as this didn’t have regular nail polish. Disappointing when our last day before leaving Japan after three weeks and having met many great people left us with this impression. We checked our emails later and saw that she canceled our appointment ten minutes before we arrived when we were already on our way.

I really enjoyed getting my nails done here. First day I had only booked to get my toes done. After seeing Saki’s immaculate job , I booked to come back the next day to get my nails done. I never usually do my nails because i like to keep them short but I made this an exception because i just had to before I leave Tokyo. She has great attention to detail and was able to swap out the colour of the flakes and colour for the lines to match the tone of the background colour that I picked. Really satisfied with the result ! ❤️i would definitely come back next time when I visit Tokyo again 🙂🙂

I walked into the shop looking for a same-day reservation and Saki was quick to answer my questions even though she was with another client.

I had to wait about an hour for an opening in their schedule, and I paid 5000 yen to reserve my spot.
