A tiny quiet temple hidden way in the busy urban-juggle of Ikebukuro. The female attendant of the temple was SO SO NICE! I asked to buy a 御朱印 (holy red stamp). Rather than sending me off in some random direction, she took my book and walked all the way to the main temple and got the stamp for me in the rain. そういう優しい人々東京で全然見つけられない! Hidden & a little bit tricky to find the small entrance of this Shrine. There's a long path with plenty of toriis & some nice vegetation that creates a unique atmosphere that makes you feel you're somewhere in the middle of a forest, even though you're in the middle of Tokyo. Very cool Shinto Shrine in Ikebukuro. Many Tori gates and well kept. There are many cats here so bring some cat snacks.

かなりのパワースポット。 迷路のように連なる赤い鳥居をくぐり抜けるとお稲荷様本殿があります。 本殿お賽銭箱の奥には「油揚げ」や「いなり寿司」を奉納する箱があり、本格的なお稲荷様です。 本殿右横にさらに下へ続く石段と鳥居が続いており、石段を降りるとたくさんの塚と小山があります。どれも使い神のお狐様が祀られておりますが、風化したものもチラホラ見受けられます。 ここの中央の小山がパワースポットなのですが、霊感の強い人はぶっ倒れるかも。 実はこのお稲荷様は池袋駅近くの四面塔を中心に上池袋の子安稲荷神社、池袋西口方面にある三社神社によって結ばれる「三社結界」の一つだそうです。
