I would recommend anyone to go here, even if you do not like fried food.

The chef was terrific and so friendly, he tried his best to communicate with us even though his English was limited.

I did the course with beef cutlet sandwiches. The beef cutlet sandwiches just melt in your mouth.

I was worried when a few food items that I am not fond of came out but it was delicious. Every skewer that came out was great.

I am already planning on going back when I come back to Japan in a few weeks.

Not to mention, the price was great not expensive even though the food quality was great.

That shrimp skewer was my favorite, it was so delicious.

They have four sauces laid out for you and lay out the skewers towards the sauce you should use for it or no sauce.

The service was fantastic and after eating I did not feel...

If I had to choose one absolute favorite dinner experience from my 2025 Japan trip, it'd be this place, no hesitation. And that's considering I LOVE wagyu and also ate at a high-end kobe beef steak restaurant in Kyoto. Kushikatsu is just such a uniquely Japanese experience to me - the utter love and care that goes into breading and deep-frying every skewer one by one, the sauces they are specifically prepared with, the variety of food they served. Everything was just perfection. This is NOT tempura - the breading is much thinner and lighter, it's not oily whatsoever, the flavors are much more delicate. I love both, but this is like the elevated experience of skewers and tempura. If you haven't had kushikatsu, set some money aside, make a reservation, you will...

Great first meal in Japan! We walked here about an hour after landing and despite being exhausted had a wonderful meal. A seemingly endless number of courses of 1-2 bit skewers were served fried right in front of you.

Very intimate bar setting in an alley (3rd floor and sign is in Japanese so give a little extra time to find it). They didn’t speak much English BUT they more for made up it with their kind nature and DELICIOUS bites of food.

Despite everything being fried it was very light and we felt fabulous after. Favorite bites were the tofu/sesame, chateaubriand, and one combining shrimp, scallops and herbs. Would definitely recommend for a unique and...
