Despite being an impressive store, the entire experience was thoroughly ruined by the appallingly rude behavior of one staff member — specifically, the man with unkempt white hair. His attitude was shockingly disrespectful and entirely contradictory to the renowned courtesy and hospitality associated with Japanese culture. As a car enthusiast and a long-time admirer of JDM culture, I was genuinely excited to visit and even spent over ¥22,000 on merchandise.

I returned shortly after with my partner, eager to share the experience with her. I politely inquired if she could enter the store holding a drink (with full assurance we wouldn’t consume it inside), only to be met with unprovoked hostility. The staff member in question responded with rudeness, visibly mocking us and even laughing directly in my partner’s face — an act that was not only offensive but utterly humiliating.

Even if there were a language barrier, nothing justifies the condescending body language and dismissive behavior we encountered. This is not just poor customer service — it’s disgraceful and tarnishes the reputation of the LBWK brand, as well as the respectful image Japan is known for. His actions led to unnecessary tension and arguments, turning what should have been a joyful day into a deeply unpleasant one.

I have absolutely no intention of returning, and I’ll be sure to share this experience with every fellow enthusiast and traveler I know. No one deserves to be treated this way — especially not by someone representing such an...

If you love cars you gotta visit here When we visited the staff was super cool the guy at the entrance spoke flawless English and was super dope to talk to about the model cars and clothes that was there

The manager of the store was upstairs and he was the same as the guy downstairs spoke really good English and was talking to us about his car and was super helpful with clothes sizing and questions about products that they were selling

If you like liberty walk or cars in general you gotta check em out they also sell 1/100 model cars that are hand painted and VERY high detailed

Their clothes and hoodies also seemed to be really good quality and didn’t feel cheap at all when I was...

If you’re into drip and car culture, this is the place to go! And if you’re looking for super-nice human beings who will go out of their way to help you, you’ll find them here, too. My son and I recently browsed the merchandise, then left without getting anything. Later, he discovered he’d lost his wallet. When we returned to Liberty Walk, every staff member went around the store to look for it. It wasn’t there, but one of the clerks, an expat American, assured us that 99% of the time, people in Japan return lost property, including wallets, to the police. He directed us to the Harajuku Police Box, which is where we found the wallet. Thank you, friendly, helpful...

If you’re into cars, especially Japanese car culture, the Liberty Walk store is a must-stop. The whole place has a super cool vibe, and you can immediately feel the passion behind the brand as soon as you walk in. The store is packed with merch and collectibles — everything from shirts, hats, hoodies, and pins to model cars, Hot Wheels, and all kinds of gear that celebrates custom car culture. Whether you’re into drifting, stance builds, or just want to grab something rare and unique, this place delivers. It’s not just a store — it’s an experience for automotive enthusiasts. Definitely a must-see if you’re a car person visiting Tokyo.
