I ventured into Live Haus at 3 AM, curious for some late-night tunes, and was immediately taken aback by the tranquility inside—a sharp contrast to what one might expect. The venue, surprisingly quiet, offered a serene atmosphere where I found the audience deeply immersed in a live guitar performance. Some were even lying on the floor, a gesture of comfort and relaxation that I promptly joined in on. This laid-back setting was exactly what I needed to wind down, providing a gentle yet engaging musical experience for a solid two hours. The bar service at Live Haus deserves a special mention. Despite having only one drink, I couldn't help but notice the bar's organization and the quality of its offerings—from pristine ice to premium glassware. With three attendants on duty, the service appeared swift and efficient, ensuring no lengthy waits for a refreshment. A standout feature of Live Haus has to be its sound system. The audio quality was exceptional, elevating the guitar play to a memorable auditory experience. It's clear that the venue places a high emphasis on sound, making it the highlight of my visit. Entry was priced at 2,500 yen, which felt reasonable for the quality of entertainment provided. The no-smoking policy inside was another plus, contributing to the venue's clean and welcoming atmosphere. The crowd, mostly in the 18-20 age bracket, had a local vibe with no foreign visitors in sight—a cozy and familiar gathering. In summary, Live Haus offers a distinctive experience for those seeking a peaceful yet engaging music scene in the late hours. Whether you're coming to unwind or to immerse yourself in the soothing strums of a guitar, this venue promises an ambiance that's hard to find elsewhere.

It's one of few live houses that do not suck musicians dry to sell tickets to their show or force them to pay exorbitant amounts to perform. The place is run by someone with high moral standing. I heard that sometimes he makes vegan food for the bar. Drink prices are average. The location is great; centrally located in Shimokitazawa. The decor is modern and thoughtful. The sound system was really good, I thought, as I stood in front of the speaker... I saw Imai for the first time here. He was an excellent performer. There is no elevator and it is a dive, so it is inappropriate for people in wheelchairs.

Nice little venue with great indie live acts. The entry is a fair price, it has a one drink requirement. The venue is small but clean inside, equipped with a neat bathroom. The crowd was young, cool, polite, at least for the night we were there. Good vibes I'd say. Probably holds about 50 comfortably. I'd follow them to see what else they've got on. One band bordered on being too loud for the little space tho.
