My first time getting my nails done in Japan and I had a great experience! I was able to book an appointment online for the next day (make sure to check your email for confirmation and time of your appointment). The salon is cute and cozy and tucked away down a little alley in Harajuku - way more calm than Takeshita street!!
Yuyu did my nails and she did an amazing job. I just got a basic manicure, but she was very skilled, careful, and efficient. They offer varying levels of nail art, but even if you go for a basic gel manicure they have so many nice colors to choose from! The gel is really nice quality and so far has stayed looking really fresh. I only know a few very basic Japanese phrases, but a few women at the shop can speak English well and it was easy to communicate. If you want nail art, you can bring in a reference photo and they can work off of that (they also had sample designs you could choose from, including charms, magnetic polish, 3D gel, etc.)

Read moreGreat service, the workers are very kind and accommodating. It's also an English friendly salon. I often come in with nail inspo pictures and they're always happy to accommodate my request, plus they do a great job of it. They also have their own variety of pretty designs. I will only go here when I want to do my nails in Tokyo!
Update: I have gone back for another appointment today and once again, they did an amazing job based on the nail inspiration I wanted! I'm so in love with my nails I can't stop looking at them. They always make my nails pretty and they last a long time without any damage. I can tell they are using great...
Read moreThey really good at creating a good design on nails - however, their nails simply do not last. I was walking down the stairs, holding a hand rail and one of my nails snapped. A literal DAY after I had gotten them. They offered to fix it, I got a finger fixed for free (as expected). Then a WEEK after, 2 more nails snapped from putting on a SEATBELT. Ridiculous $360 AUD price for a good design but really poor quality nails. Other salons can create better designs while allowing acrylic extensions to last at least 3 weeks, the minimum. I do not recommended. Price was...
