Amazing find! Highly recommended to anyone and everyone looking for an intimate personal experience and a great gift/souvenir.
I stumbled across this store while on Google maps - just casually researching the area. My partner and I had been looking for a place to get wedding bands while on our trip in Japan and this place is a gem!!! They offer a workshop, where you can make your own rings (ready made options are also available). Pricing varies base on the material, finish and engravings.
The staff here are super friendly and kind. They were incredibly patient with us as we struggled to make the rings. They assisted us the whole way and walked us through the entire process from selecting the right rings for us to the after care services available. Cannot express how incredibly thankful we are for their patience and kindness. It really helped make this an incredible experience. If you choose to make your own rings and have concerns, don’t worry - you do get a chance to practice first!
There are also container options available at the end - so no need to worry about how get your previous rings home. There are 3 options available: ring box, paper box, and pouches (available in so many colors).
All in all - it was a great experience and we highly recommend this to all.
Tip: you can make a reservation with them...
Read moreThis was a very fun experience! The rings are very customizable. You can choose the material(s), thickness, shape, texture, and engraving inside.
The rings are rather expensive, so be prepared to pay. This is especially true depending on the ring material. There is silver and many kinds of gold.
Making the rings was not very hands on. The staff prepares the ring blank and engraves inside. The hands on part is hammering the texture onto the ring. I enjoyed this part because it was fun to see the ring texture appear as I hammered. Despite not being able to actually make the ring blank or hammer in the engraving, the staff lets you watch them prepare the rings. It’s very fun to watch them work!
The staff at Nane Tokyo are so nice! They are very kind and helpful. They patiently helped me find my ring size, let me take pictures of them working, and even did a photo shoot of the rings afterword.
For anyone interested in making a cute, long-lasting souvenir in Tokyo, I recommend trying Nane.
(ps. It is especially fun to do with a friend or family member. I did the class with my mom, and we had fun giving each other suggestions and making...
Read moreI loved my experience here and the staff were absolutely lovely! I purchased a ring making experience on Viator for 6,600y and the price was deducted from my final purchase. I made a 1.0mm 10k gold ring with the picopico matte effect for 11,000y (minus the 6,600y I paid online). I was able to size the ring and add the picopico effect to a blank band. Overall, it was a cute thing to do in Shibuya.
I’m an art teacher so the skill level was a bit low for me. I’m horrible about researching before I do things and should have checked the details. I was hoping for a more advanced experience but still had fun.
My fiance and I originally wanted to get our wedding bands but his was going to be 108,000y for a 4.m matte gold band with the picopico effect- which was more than we planned to spend. So we went with a smaller option instead.
The staff was perfect and so cute, patient...
