Not a wasted trip! The rest were mostly regular items though. 📍Ginza Sanrio 〒104-0061 Tokyo, Chuo City, Ginza, 4 Chome−1−先, Nishi Ginza 2F Last time my friend went, they had loads of special editions! This time, only 50th-anniversary and regular stuff. PS: Most Sanrio stores have regular items, so I won't list them all! Just go to Ueno for shopping, and Asakusa for some pics. 💗🩵💗 If you're looking to collect special editions, head straight to the nearby Don Quijote (search for MEGA on the map and check the nearby ones for deals! It's a bit of a gamble though!) Also, keep an eye out for small shops on the street! a very lovely shop to get sanrio characters' goods! and of course, to get my favourite Little Twin Stars merchandise! they're just too cute. it's a relatively small shop. the decoration at the door front was so eye catching! huge pudding with the ueno panda. and inside the shop there's some limited editions - the panda crossover items, so it's a good place to hunt and get some lovely gifts for friends and kids.

Very cute and adorable store with a lot of Japan and surprisingly, Ueno-exclusive Sanrio merch! There were a lot of locals who lined up early to purchase what looked like to be rainbow HK items? I thought the prices were very reasonable and the workers were for the most part quite nice. I do wish the store space was just a bit larger though as it got quite crowded and difficult to...

A kawaii store in Ueno with the mascot being a panda. Makes for a cute photo op, store is small but plentiful. They have a section of exclusive Ueno panda merchandise with various Hello Kitty characters. Worth the visit if you are in Ueno. Limited amount of gachas inside and out too. Open 11.30am-8pm during our visit...
