We went around 9am and there was nothing open other than McDonald’s until 10 or 11am. It actually was nice to take a picture in front of Takeshita Square with no crowds. We came back around 3-4pm and it was so crowded you could barely get through. There was a huge crowd just clustered at the front of the square..I guess for pictures…it got a bit less congested once you actually got on the street itself. I also wonder if people mainly used google maps singular route there? We took a intersecting street and missed most of the crowd cluster.
