Went by myself, and had a blast! I bought the Sasuke pack, which includes ninja training, hiring a ninja outfit, as well as food & drink; and it is definitely worth it!

You get taught the basics of wielding a katakana, throwing shuriken, and shooting blow darts; and the staff have a great level of English, and are easy to understand. They will also take photos & videos of you if you need them to (like when you're alone), and they are very supportive with your efforts.

They have different sizes of the ninja outfit, so if you're a bit bigger, or even super small, you can still enjoy dressing up.

You have a choice of food & drink (if you buy alcohol, you have to pay a little extra); and their advertised curry is delicious & very cute!

Just be aware that the website doesn't exaggerate when it says it's hard to find! The street looks like a closed business street compared to the main area; but there is a thin door leading down to a basement, next to a large roller door (that was closed when I visited); and that's where you need to go.

I will definitely go...

I wasn't sure when I entered because the place was completely empty. In the end, it was suprise with an interesting experience and it was fun. There are several menus that combine drinking food and entertainment. I chose the Jiraya menu where there was a training session, drink, dessert and a ninja costume and extra I took a scroll with my own calligraphy. The calligraphy was ninja kanji and I signed it in Japanese. It's a shame there wasn't more calligraphy to choose from but that didn't bother me that much, I would give a minus for the fact that you can't try calligraphy before but you write on a scroll. Then I had dessert and it was an interesting fire show. Don't expect a few hours from the training but about 20-30 minutes. You learn a few cuts with a sword, throwing three types of shuriken and shooting from a blowpipe and that's what I enjoyed the most. The price for the Jiraya menu was 5000¥ (approx. 30€) and for calligraphy 1800¥ (approx. 12€). You will take away beautiful photos and videos, it is an interesting experience but it...

We really enjoyed our time at the Ninja Experience Café. The experience was fun, informative, and great value for the price. We went during lunchtime and happened to be the only ones there, so we could ask plenty of questions and take our time learning about ninja history and techniques.

We took some great photos and had a lot of fun — it’s a nice activity for couples, friends, or even solo visitors. The food and drinks were tasty and carefully prepared with the ninja theme in mind.

A special thanks to Bryan, who was very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. We had a great conversation about the differences between our countries and really enjoyed the ninja challenges he guided us through.

Overall, it was a very pleasant and memorable experience that we definitely recommend.

Note: Our total cost was ¥6,600 per person for the full package, which included ninja costumes, drinks, lunch, and hands-on training with three ninja tools — the sword, different types of shuriken (throwing stars), and the...

Pretty fun, and not just for kids! Firstly, if your booking is for 10am, just hang around where google maps takes you and trust in that. I could not find the building name they mentioned in my confirmation email and was freaking out that I couldn't see a sign. Then at 10am on the dot they put a sign out and opened the door. It's a small room downstairs. We were the only group, which was good, I was worried I would be with a bunch of kids. We did the ¥3500 package. Went for a decent amount of time. I was hoping for a little more history, etc, but it didn't really have it. It really was just learning the sword moves, throwing ninja stars, and blowing the poison darts. There was lots of encouragement to make photos, probably too much for our liking, but we went along with it. I was basically a pro, getting a bullseye and 2 x double darts #sensei An affordable and fun thing to do, kids would love it!
