The soft serve was very good. The reason why I gave a one star is because the staff was extremely rude to me. My Japanese is only basic since I am a tourist, and When I was waiting at the counter she told me in Japanese “please wait” and I said ok. I was still undecided on my item so I took this as a chance to look leisurely at the menu flavors while waiting. when she came back from cleaning the machine, I asked if she had any recommendations and she completely snapped at me. She yelled at me “I TOLD YOU TO WAIT” and she looked at me with full on anger on her face.

I was so shocked. I don’t think this is normal or acceptable especially in Japanese culture and standards and I wasn’t rude or pushy, I merely was asking because she came back after a long time and honestly I just didnt know because I don’t speak Japanese. I also don’t mind waiting but I wished she didn’t yell at me like that when I didn’t do anything wrong.

She was extremely nice and not like this at all to the people before and after me, who were Japanese so I can’t help but think that she’s a foreigner hater. Although the soft serve tasted really good and I would come back again this left an awful taste in my mouth so I wouldn’t recommend it or come back.

I sat there eating my ice cream feeling so sad and I honestly just wanted to get out of there. I was feeling down because I’ve been going through a lot of stress lately and wanted some ice cream to treat myself and wasn’t expecting to be treated like that.

This happened about a month ago and I thought I’d get over it but whenever I think back to this place and it’s ice cream I’m reminded of the angry woman who looked at me with unbridled rage just because I asked if she had any flavor...

This place has good reviews so I wanted to try it out. They have different flavors and make the fruit ones fresh with frozen fruits that are on display. They even had tomato, but I think that’s a limited flavor. We had strawberry (M size) and Banana (S size). I’m not often in the area unfortunately but would like to try Mango and Blueberry as well if I come back. It was very refreshing so probably best on hot summer days!
