Situated in the basement 1 of a building that house Aloha hawaii western tonkatsu.
The place is well ventilated despite being underground. Relatively spacious with a U-shaped wooden counter table which can seat 13-14 pax.
A senior lady attended to everyone. She was friendly, curt and precise.
Solo moves faster. Didnt need to wait in queue. We came here during lunch, and we were a small group of 4. So we had to wait for 20minutes.
Easy to order.
Pick - soup flavour between shoyu or miso. I picked miso. It costs 1000¥ for the noodle and soup base.
Then I added on toppings of my choice seperately. I added 2 eggs, shitake mushrooms, pork, big fried tofu and wakame. Came up to about 1650¥ in total.
Waited another 10minutes for the noodle. It was served pipping hot in a claypot. Soup was super flavourful and i find the udon texture special. Flatter and darker colour compared to the usual ones we get outside.
Portion is also very very generous. Extremely full after.
