A very good tourist attraction and hot spot especially during 8pm-10pm, you may see the water fountain show around 15 minutes from 8pm onwards. The fountain show includes the movement of the water synchronised with the music and songs. I enjoy my self every moment of it. Apart from that, there a lot of local hawker that sells light refreshments like the pancake and waters. The price of the food over there is reasonable and cheap as well. Apart from that you may walk long the river side to see the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Building in which for me the design is unique and make you remembered it as a Sarawak landmark. Apart from that you may walk across the streets to buy souvenirs and knickknacks for your loved ones. However, most of the souvenirs shop will be closed around 7:30 pm, you may plan to buy your souvenirs before 7:30 pm. For a cheaper option of the souvenirs you may walk a little bit more to the Indian streets, the price differences will be Rm 2-5 per item. It depends on the quality as well

Along the river it offers a good view of the Kuching city which consists of Malay villages, city & condominium landscapes, Ministerial house and fishing & shipping docks. The boat ride ends with a Beautiful sunset view as well. Cruise boat is old boat used to ferry people back & fro from Sabah, but it is well maintained for touristy rides now. Great experiences for first timer visitor to Kuching, Sarawak.

Made a very last minute booking directly through WhatsApp and bank transfer. Overall cruise did as planned. Have lower cabin with air conditioning and upper deck that is open. Cruise starts boarding at 5pm and departs on time at 5:30pm. Some with simple kuih lapis cake and free flow cordial orange juice. Explaination for each point of interest done in English. Finishes off with traditional cultural dance that you can join in and take photo at the end. In comparison to Singapore cruise, this one is nothing to compare. But worth doing at least once.

Cruise starts boarding at 5pm and departs on time at 5:30pm. Some with simple kuih lapis cake and free flow cordial orange juice. Explaination for each point of interest done in English. Finishes off with traditional cultural dance that you can join in and take photo at the end. In comparison to Singapore cruise, this one is nothing to compare. But worth doing at least once.
