CHUBBS — Restaurant in Sarawak

It is HARD to find anything close to American style burger in town and these guys made it best! Fresh patty, pickles, green, lightly sauced, and that firm yet soft bun they are using are flying! See MOST of street/store burgers out there in Kuching are like AGGRESSIVELY sauced! Cheap chilli saucing violently all over the frozen patty. These guys got their secret bbq sauce dense enough they gone easy on it, burger supposed to project layers of flavours to your tastebuds. I strongly recommending chubbs cause they now their burger well! Thick middle rare chilled Australian beef patties, or even their red hot chicken, juicy enough you’ll get wet from it! LOL sorry guys it’s just metaphor. They serve no pork no beer that’s the only none American, which is good I dragged my Muslim friends along, LoL we all spent more time on drying up than chunking in the burger! Take ma words! I used to eat at Chubbs before with friends, a few years back. Can't remember the year. Back then, their burgers were good. Enough good for a burger lover like me. But, this time, yesterday, I went there, their burger was meh. I'm a bit disappointed though. The reviews here are high yet the real condition is so meh. Buns were soggy. Beef patty tastes less fresh. Their french fries were too salty & over pepper. Pricey but the place is not worth the price. Coz the place is quite messy & not fancy. Even their drinks are also boleh la. A not-very-friendly young waitress with a cold, annoying attitude will serve you the menu for beverages. I can find a better burger spot than this place. But, I think the pizza stall next to the burger serves better pizzas. Should try that instead of the burgers. I give reasonable reviews from my point of view, from my perspectives...

When it came to hamburger? Why ppl often said. Never said you tried a burger till you visit the westerns? Its because their burger is like their main dish, quality patty, fine choice of bun, etc..
