Aeon Bukit Raja. The “sister mall” of Aeon Bandar Utama (1 Utama). Aeon Bandar Utama was opened August 1995 (with the old wing only). Aeon Bukit Raja was opened two months later October 1995 with a very similar concept with 1 Utama. Those days, they both had the earliest TGV cinemas, Intencity Entertainment (video arcade - now defunct), and of course, Aeon. As for parking, they both had an external direct ramp connects from ground floor to the upper parking floor ie Aeon Bukit Raja is on 2nd Floor. Similar goes with Bandar Utama which connects to 3rd floor. For rooftop parking, Aeon Bukit Raja close the access to rooftop while Bandar Utama has added another floor above the rooftop.
Aeon Bukit Raja still maintains the old 1995 concept. With white daylight lighting. Supermarket is on the other end of the building and of course I love to look at the stock clearance section in the supermarket. Hardly see those clearance in Bandar Utama (actually they do but not much variety compared with Bukit Raja). In Bandar Utama, they have renovated, and even relocated and modernise the looks. So if you want nostalgia, go to Aeon Bukit Raja.
Aeon Bukit Raja attracts very low crowd due to newer Aeon malls such as Aeon Bukit Tinggi and Aeon Shah Alam so basically the mall is very quiet. Occupancy rate is about 60% base on...
Read moreThis is an old AEON shopping mall with better and newer other AEON shopping malls nearby, but still operating as usual. There are still some crowds during weekends and festive seasons.
Similar to other AEON shopping malls, there is an AEON supermarket here as well. Good shopping place to get your needs such as groceries and also clothes from many brands. Groceries are located on the ground floor but clothes are located on the 1st floor on the other side.
Besides that, there are plenty of stores selling all kinds of items such as clothes, shoes, accessories, IT gadgets, pharmacies, etc. Not many restaurants and cafes here. There is a Japan 2nd hand store here which sells all kinds of items. TGV cinema is located on the 1st floor of the shopping mall.
Simple and quite traditional construction design. Not much of interior design and not much decorations inside the mall. Overall, the mall is clean, well maintained and in order. There is a recycle collection center at the main entrance of the mall.
Ample parking space here with reasonable parking fee. Still parking space is available even during peak hours. The staff was...

I came here around 5pm to look for Mother's Day gift for mum. On the ground floor there are stalls selling clothes, shoes and handbags. You can find shops like Watson, mattress shop, clothes boutiques, Famous Amos, Poh Kong, Starbuck, Nyonya restaurant, Johnny restaurant and many more. The ATM machines can be found on the ground floor.
Honestly, even though songs were playing...the whole place feels and looks dull. The last time I came here (4 years ago) I remember there were more shops. That time the whole place was so bright and cheerful but now there are many empty shop lots which they displays some sort of decor. I guess in an effort to brighten the place up? Even the lights were not as bright as before. There's nothing much to see here now and so I left without a gift. Well, at least I found a parking spot...
