I'm going to start by saying that I was pretty sceptical about this place. The inception of this scepticism was fairly recent because of the trend of grandeur restaurants advertising themselves with the help of the social network almost everyone loathes in by saying that they are the next big restaurant in Indian cuisine in Malaysia or at least in Selangor. Most of the time the food was absolutely horrendous and the environment was earsplitting with the chattering and the loud music. The only restaurant that ever discarded my scepticism is betel leaf. This restaurant does not offer the most satisfying lunch just because of one major reason being. The reason being it was just not good it was alright to say the least and there was no mastery of the cooking style,no heavenly feeling the moment I put the food in my mouth and It definitely didn't justify the grandeur decorations of the restaurant. It almost felt like I was eating at a McDonald's for Indian cuisine. There was no inspiration in the food at all, it almost felt like I ate a food cooked by a lifeless robot. I would say breakfast is them at their best because the restaurant is mostly empty forcing the waiters to concentrate on us. The food they offer for breakfast is also fulfilling and doesn't make sleepy but energizes you to tackle the day. Nextly the atmosphere is also pretty much what I said about the food. It's uninspiring, feels cheap at places and is just not fully fleshed out or finished. The only compliments I'd give for the atmosphere is they figured the best temperature for the regulation of their food of not being cold and keeping us not being hot at the same time which I think is pretty nifty and good. I do not know if it's on purpose or a coincidence but considering the aspects they left out half cooked I unfortunately think it's a pretty positive coincidence. The last thing I'd like to say about the atmosphere is the noise of the kitchen which is nearly non existent if you're far away from it but is jarringly irritating if you're anywhere close to it , now I can't exactly tell you the proximity where it starts to make you crazy because I couldn't measure but Id just like to say don't sit to close to the kitchen. Another crucial part about a restaurant is service. The service is mediocre, moderate or good depending on who you are. Now I said that because being exposed to absolutely poor service standard and visiting this restaurant might seem like a breath of fresh air and for the others who normally experience good service this might seem like mediocre because they do what they are supposed to which isn't the most flattering thing but at least they do it properly. I'd like to highlight one thing though which is the plates the serve build up moisture underneath it which makes it uncomfortable considering you're in a restaurant but I didn't know where to place this so I just place it here. The parking is simple to explain. You'll have a very hard time finding a parking in rush hour but all the other time will be a piece of cake. The rush hour is somewhere around 1.20 pm but confirm with the restaurant by giving them a call. Overall a place I myself would consider going for breakfast and the bru coffee is very nice and if you're someone who drinks with sugar ask the sugar separately and add for your liking. Other than that I...

Washrooms are decent and clean.
Quite difficult to find parking in this area. There’s more parking inside the building after this restaurant entrance. (paid car park lots)

Read moreSuper disappointed with the service will never return again. Went for lunch today. Couldn’t finish the meal, so I asked for a takeaway and went to wash my hands. What I heard next really boiled my blood. One of the kitchen staff said, “I have so much to do and all this unnecessary job for me, I gave you plastic, ask them to do themselves.”
Seriously? And the waitress who saw me at the hand washing area didn’t even bother to stop or correct him. I calmly replied, “If you’re busy, you could’ve just given me a box – I would’ve packed it myself.”
At first, I didn’t want to leave a negative review – I actually chose to speak directly to the boss. And his response? “What were you doing there? How could you hear that conversation?” I was shocked. Still trying to process his tone and words, I told him over the counter that he should ask his staff to be more mindful of what they say. And his second reply? “He didn’t talk to you.”
So basically, it’s okay for staff to be rude as long as it’s not said directly to the customer?
I came here only because the food is slightly better than other Indian shops around Klang. But never again. Oh, and the reason I wanted to take away the mutton in the first place? It was too tough to chew. Flavor was okay, but not worth the attitude I...
