De Figurelab - Mytown — Local services in Kuala Lumpur

I found this figure toys store is amazing, lots of interesting figures for collection. Luckily, for me not old enough to learn something new from oversea. M’sia is a fantastic cheapest country for fans of anime or collectors to buy anime toy figures here. I don’t think any countries are cheaper than M’sia except China because all figure toys are manufactured from China. This store only give warning not to shake, weight and open the box but never give informations about what is mystery box? I’m sure no many customers know the rule and trade of mystery box unless mystery box collectors.

Yes, this store sells so many collections and selections…. kinda messy and confusing for first-time collectors to shop here. In Canada, they arranged each series in 1 section together with their collections. Here, they display everything they had in the stores and they don’t have an exchange item section or a resale item section for collectors. Let’s say, I wanted to collect full Yandere Girls Campus consists 6’s toy in 1 collection. I keep buying until 20 boxes without knowing what inside mystery box? To collect only 6 differences toy in 1 serie. My 14’s are wasted, same repetitive toys, what am I going to do with it? Is not easy to trade online with other collectors? So, I sell back to the store or buy from the store which already opened mystery box by other collectors with discounted price. This how the trade was? I went there on yesterday (Saturday evening) . When I asked nicely to one of the guy staff - CHINESE GUY (Gen Z i guess) - wearing white T-shirt and spec . I asked about their product and wish to purchase it . He was being rude while answering my question . I asked him - if they have any new 'Demon Slayer' poster as shown on their wall as I wanted to purchase . Then he just stood there and asked me , ''WHICH DEMON SLAYER , WE HAVE DEMON SLAYER ONE , TWO , THREE , FOUR , FIVE , SIX . WHICH ONE ?!'' ( then I asked him , why don't u follow me to that side to have a look which one I wished to purcase . He followed me , while showing me (his badmood face expression) as he highly dislike customers keep coming and ask him any questions . My opinion , GO HOME AND DONT WORK THERE ! if you don't like to work in there . I'm working in customer service industry line as well - but that is not how we treat customers . YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE THE PASSION OF WORKING THERE . NO SMILING - NOT GENUINE - NOT A FRIENDLY SELLER and NO COMMON SENSE AT ALL . I hope the management can do...

Medium size figure store inside My Town Shopping Mall, that sells all kind of anime & cartoon items, such as posters, figures, toys, keychains, cards, etc. Plenty of items for selections. Items were nicely arranged and displayed, so very entertaining. Price slightly at higher side but still reasonable.

The store is quite spacious inside but fully packed with items, so quite narrow walkway inside. Simple interior design but packed with posters decoration all around the store. Place is clean and well maintained. Staffs were friendly, helpful and kind.
