Huuk Barbershop @ Lot 10 — Local services in Kuala Lumpur

First time going to this branch (usually at IOI City Mall). My experience so far going go to Huuk has always been amazing, matching all the haircuts that I’ve shown pictures of. Since the experiences I had were nothing but great so I assumed the barbers/haircutters are talented (I’ve had different person cutting my hair every time I came by) BUT SADLY today the cut I got is the worst I’ve gotten this year so far (top 3 my entire life and I wish I was joking). Flew all the way from Sarawak in hoping to get yet another awesome haircut but nopeee. I let this man cook, trusting maybe he’s new but actually good but holy moly I got cooked instead (his hair cutting skills were so bad bro like the entire time I was watching my hair getting butchered I’m slowly dying inside). Like I wished that if he wasn’t skilled enough to do the haircut he should’ve mentioned it and I can adjust or idk let someone else do it instead???? (all he said was that my hair can’t do the same like the picture? which was weird since I had a good hair length and he could’ve played around with how short it should/could be along the way so I just told him it doesn’t have to be perfectly exact like it) And this guy had the audacity to say the hairstyle I asked for is like harry styles hairstyles to his coworkers when it’s literally not???? Yo I’m legit was being used as a practice or something like if it didn’t cost RM80 and was RM15 like aite what do I expect much right? I’m hella disappointed. Harris was not only friendly but also exceptionally attentive and responsive to my needs throughout the visit. The communication was notably positive, with Harris actively listening to my preferences and even double-checking before making decisions about the haircut. This level of attention made the experience personalised and enjoyable.

Getting a haircut has always been crucial for me, especially with my curly hair and facial features. I've been a loyal customer at Huuk since I arrived in KL, initially at other branch.

When I heard about their new outlet in Lot10, KL, I decided to give it a try, thinking that a new branch might mean new staff. There, I had the pleasure of meeting the talented hairstylist known as JUNNI. To be honest, she is not only skilled but also kind, and, most importantly, she listens carefully to the customer's haircut preferences, which is crucial when there are specific requests. I've had my haircut with her four times now, and I can confidently say that I haven't left the barbershop frustrated again hahaha if u know what I mean.

In fact, every time the topic of haircuts comes up, I happily recommend her to my friends or the HUUK Barbershop.
