We stayed at room 512. Throughout the duration of our stay, the glue from the wooden flooring in the room has been oozing out whenever pressure is applied to the floor and therefore staining our belongings such as our luggages/ bags/ shoes... and even our feet. There were only 1 floor rug provided for the toilet despite the condition of the flooring of the bedroom.
Given the small size of the room, there is no way that we can actually avoid the glue as it is at our path from the toilet to the bed. As the hotel room doesn't come with hotel slippers, our feet had this brownish-wooden color stain from the glue that remained until we checked out from the hotel. The glue stain which was stuck onto our feet had also stained the bedsheets as well. Thankfully, they did not charge us for it. We did lodge complaints towards the receptionist thrice, but they could only apologise with no action.
On certain times, some part of the flooring may appear wet as well. For the record, we were staying at this hotel for 5 days 4 nights... and ended up having to take rubbish bags from the housekeeping to cover the flooring on our 2nd night there so that our feet doesn't get stained further. We also used the plastic which we had wrapped our luggage with to cover the flooring as well. The carpet outside the room was oddly wet as well when we checked out at 9am.
Bed and pillows were alright. Ample of choices for TV channels and aircon are cold enough. Location is alright as well. However, the soundproofing is poor and you can literally hear people using the toilet next door.
The moisture level in the room was oddly high as I hung my fresh, unworn jacket on the rack provided but the jacket was smelly and soiled by the next day as if I have worn it.
Would suggest the hotel to check and fix the flooring. Won't be back...
Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment with the recent experience I had during my stay at your hotel from April 21st to April 23rd in room number 618. Despite the prime location and reasonable price, my stay was marred by several issues that I would like to bring to your attention.
Firstly, the air conditioning in my room was not functioning properly. Despite setting it to the lowest temperature of 17°C, only warm air was blowing out. This made it difficult for me to sleep comfortably in the room, especially during the hot and humid weather in Malaysia.
Secondly, I contacted the front desk to report the issue and requested for maintenance to check on the air conditioning. The staff who came to my room found the air filter filled with dust and proceeded to clean it. However, I pointed out that this was not the root cause of the problem, as the air conditioning unit was still not functioning properly even after the filter was cleaned. Despite my concerns, the staff insisted that the issue had been resolved and left without further action. I was left to endure the warm and stuffy room for the rest of the night.
Thirdly, I contacted the front desk again to request a room change or a fan as a temporary solution, as the air conditioning was still not functioning properly. However, the staff was unhelpful and only promised to find a solution. Unfortunately, nothing was done, and I had to suffer through the second night with the same discomfort.
I hope you can understand that this was not the experience I was expecting from a 3-star hotel. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and take necessary steps to ensure that other guests do not have to experience similar discomfort in the future.
Thank you for your attention and I look forward to hearing...
Read morestayed here for one night, just for transit in KL. booked room with windows, the pricing was ok compared to other hotels in the area. ||pros:||1. location. right at bukit bintang, but slightly at the back lane. thus its not as noisy from the hustle and bustle of bukit bintang but walkable to any place. less than 5 min walk to lot 10, pavilion, farenheit etc. but slightly uphill walk from the hotel to the main road. plenty of eateries nearby.|2. staffs are friendly and very helpful. i brought a perishable item and knowing there will be no fridge in the room, i asked them to keep for me. they kept it in their cooler but they asked me do i need a chiller or freezer. shows that they care about our items and not to damage it unintentionally. easy and fast check in and check out. |3. room - clean and spotless. no noise from the road at night despite corner room. no funky smell.|4. camera museum located at 1st (or mezzanine?) floor. nice place to hang out if someone visits us, considering the room is extremely small. nice instagrammable place.||cons:||1. extremely small room. basically just enough for queen bed and small table. tv is right at your foot when u r sleeping. i took jz 2 steps from the bed to washroom/toilet. |2. tv signal is poor.|3. hard to use rain shower. water pressure is also rather low. |4. there might be a noise during daytime as there are construction right next to the hotel. but they stopped doing work late evening. ||overall, recommended for short stay, or for solo travellers. for those who'll do a lot of shopping may not be useful as well as there is not much place to put...
